Similar combo,idiot driver.Started at 11.74@116. Dimbo over revved every gear.Some teaching,some tuning .Whittled a best of 11. 21@,117.If you can tune and drive,a low 11/high ten is possible.

11.20's @ 119.0

With a more aggresive intake and bigger carb i think there's more potential.................just hope it hooks :icon_smi:.
 
Just noticed,you said intake "welded square flange,and ported".Usually,this points towards,a Holley Dominator carb. Are you running the 750 Dominator?

You may be right on that carb? I'm not sure on the weldin' & portin' but i was thinking a Victor 340 would be a good intake and maybe a 850....DP or Hp? Being it looks to be a mainly track car with a pretty good size stall.

I don't know, getting late and i'm too tired to think anymore..............lol.
 
low 11's or maybe better depending on traction issues

The welding was to make it a sq. flange opening. my porter said this would be a better intake than the vic , wants me to run a 2in spacer. carb is a 4150. i also have a 750 that flows 1036 gas carb i will try. 3300 is with me in it, car ran 11.70/11.80's with a mp 557 cam, same intake unported, 202 valve mild cleaned up heads, 750 bg carb, 3500 stall. the heads flow alot better now he also took out the pinch in the heads. also with a 100 shot on old combo ran 10.90's. i am hoping to go low 11-to 10.9 on motor then spray the 100 shot or less, want to run a 10.50 heads up class.
 
The combo I was around, similar work,and a similar cam.Threw a 175 plate at it,eventually went 10.60's,@ 124 to 125.
