I thought this seat was for my 69 dart. But it’s not. It looks a hair too narrow. It’s definitely too short and the clips that hold it to the floor are also too narrow. What could it be for?

it looks correct to me, but it may work better if you put the back on first. Also, I noticed you don't have the side panels on, that will make a difference in how it fits and looks.

That won't fix the retaining hook mismatch,.. maybe for a convertible, or....?

seat is pushed way too far back, hard to tell in that picture but it looks like it would work if in a more forward position.

worst case you could move the tabs on floor over to match the seat if the seat matches other seats in car , might just be a difference in year of the car it came out of as it does look to be a correct seat

Yeah like 3" too far back. If you look close, you can see the part of the seat frame that goes into the bracket.......just behind the bracket.

Just noticed, did you replace those hooks, they look like they are on backwards

Yeah, install the seat back first then lay the bottom down and see what happens.

I found the correct seat. I was just wondering what this one is from because I’d like to sell it. It’s close, except for where it hooks into the floor.
