picked this up for my duster from the local yard turns out in between the tabs are to short. it was in the mopar section so what car does it go to lol and does anyone need one.

Maybe an early A? I had to file the nubs on a later cap to fit my 65, maybe you got the real deal...? Throw a mic across the tangs and Ill check mine when I get home.

It should fit through 69 models. I think 1970 is when the EPA and vapor venting changes happened.

69's only had 2 tangs on them & where not dished in like that. 70 Challanger maybe?

my duster has two but there is more space between the two sets thats why this one wont lock cant get the second set in

ok well i found out what it goes too. its a gates 31721 and fits mustangs and pintos o well did waste too much cash on it lol
