Im putting in a new power steering box on my 67 dart, im also planning on pulling the motor to finish up a couple of things that have been bothering me. The motor doesnt bother me but i have never messed with power steering boxes. Is there any thing i should look out for or be aware of before i start. Thanks.

Make sure you have the correct steering gear.
Remove all the hardware from the steering column and move it off the steering gear. Reason being if the steering gear should drop with the box coupling still attached it will rip that coupling open and scatter its guts.
Put locktite on those 3 bolts attaching the gear box to the K member.

Like redfish said, make sure it's the correct box. Check the pitman shaft diameter to make sure it's like yours. If it's a V8 car, I'd pull the enging first, then the box. Much easier than pulling the box with the engine in the way. Leave the steering coupler together and just knock the roll pin out. Pull the column loose from the dash and firewall to get enough clearence to remove the box. A good pitman arm puller will help too.

Thanks guys, Im hopeing that its the right one, it the only one my local parts stores offer and it takes five days to get here.
