Need a measurement (ATI damper --> 440 block)

I need the precise distance between the block (440) and the face of a 3 ring ATI Super Damper. Part numbers will be either 917122E (steel) or 917474E (aluminum). Block reference should be timing cover/water pump housing attachment face.

Here is a pic (not mine) - is the forward looking oil pump mounting face on the same plane as the timing cover mounting flat? If yes, then it seems the easiest way to measure from the pulley face to the oil pump cover mounting face.

Yes that is the same machined surface
