Need clarification on rear glass install on 66 Dart GT

Doesn’t the large stainless steel trim and trim clips installed first before the rear rubber and glass is installed. It’s been so long since I removed it my memory is real foggy!

The trim clips install with the GT trim that screws in, then the glass, then the window trim snaps in last.

What I did on my 65 Dart GT trim. Put glass in rubber gasket, then roll the lip into the frame with a rope pull. I shattered the glass trying to remove it with gasket in car.
