Need help! 73 Dart 4 door, how much?

Thanks Dan!

Now, does anyone know what the two hoses on the upper passenger side of the firewall are for?

If you look at the pic, you can see the hose just loops back (from the lower port to the upper port).

I assume something has been disconnecter or bypassed.

Also.......

I did all the tune up mods first thing (including the fuel line mod). Made an already great running car run even better.

Thanks Dan!

It appears that somebody has tried to bypass the EGR setup which is what that runs to if I remember correctly. It's either that or another connection to the charcoal cannister up front.

That's the OSAC valve. Its purpose was to squeak the cars past new-car Federal emission type approval so they were legal for first sale. It delayed vacuum signal to the distributor, reducing NOx emissions and spoiling performance, economy, and driveability. The loop of hose needn't be there, just pretend the widget doesn't exist. Hose directly from carburetor to distributor with no stops in between. In case I didn't previously post, SL6 carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download.
