need help cross referencing spark plug

I have an autolite 3924 plug and would like to cross reference to ngk. Can anyone help? When I cross reference I came up with about 20 different ngk plugs.

Cross references are only a guide. You should check application on what you are going to use as well (NGK) and even then THAT is only a guide.

I can show you cases, "back in the day" when you could interchange from say, Champion to AC and back to Champion from AC and be several heat ranges off.

With my combo Edelbrock suggested the Autolite 3924? How did they come up with that number? I gave them all the info they asked for of the engine and that is the number they gave me.

Probably because it's the Autolite equivalent of the Champion RC12YC racing plug.

I'm using BKR6ES-11's in mine they come gapped @.044' which works with my MSD.

BKR6ES-11 are what we use. Gap em at .045" with high quality wires and a hotter coil.

guess somebody beat me to the punch. Hope it helps, NGK is a much better plug,not made in China or Mexico.

edelbrock comes up with a plug that has 3/4" reach and 14mm thread gasket seat. they guess/average on heat range. I said throw some new plugs in.
