Anyone know of a mopar 360 head gasket that is .042-.043 thick? The only one i found is a mopar, BUT!!! the bore size is 4.020??? Its like really? My car is 4.040

Found some!!! HG31030HT Made by ROL which should be .043-.045

I was going to mention those until I saw that you found them!
They recently bought out Corteco which uses a white coating on their gaskets. I have an engine going in now with those gaskets. ROL use to have a grey "grafoil" type before the new, white ones were introduced.

.045 thick gasket when crushed...is what I was saying.
Im actually running .035 'quench distance'

anything more than .045 'quench distance' is a wash, try to get it .040 or a lil tighter

I need 10.2 compression.....I have 10.3 right now and need to get it down, only thing I know is to get a gasket .042-.043....which means the gasket i just posted HG31030HT is suppose to be .045 not crushed...does this mean it will be less when it is crushed?

Only you can find out.Call the gasket company, find out what fasteners were used.Ask the company what was done to acheve that, that is the textbook answer. In the real world,a quench of ,038 to .045 works gangbusters,.002 don't worry about. My .02 cents.
