Anyone out there know a place online to find rocker panels for a 68 Cuda? Mine are completely rotted through on the back half. I will patch them myself if need be but would like to get new ones. I found a place but they want 125 a side!! Hoping to get them a lot cheaper if possible. Thanks guys.

I have a pair from a 74 Duster. Outer is the same.

$75 a side plus shipping

I just checked out ABS......$42 a side, yup, sounds good to me! (sorry crackedback) Longgone, have you or anyone you know ordered their fiberglass fenders? If so, how did they work out? Was their a lot of trimming or cosmetic work that needed to be done? Also, did they come pre-drilled or no? I know, a lot of questions, just want to know if I should hold out for some metal ones or if you can even tell the difference in appearance using fiberglass. Never used fiberglass on a car.......on an aircraft, sure...but never a car. I think I would be afraid that it would stand out.

Good luck with those. Hope you enjoy butt welding and finishing long runs. What little you save in $ you'll more than pay for in time. Just a heads up for you.

Cool with me.

I have fiberglass fenders, hood, and header panel on my `68 Barracuda. I bought the parts from AAR Fiberglass in Florida. They produce very high quality pieces and are almost impossible to tell from metal without touching. The fenders come with the `69 side marker lens opening that has to be filled. You`ll have to install the headlight adjustment hardware and shim to fit but most everything else is ready to go. I fabbed up some tabs on the wheel lips and reinstalled the braces that support the middle of the wheelwell to the inner fender. I also added one more support from the bottom front edge of each wheelwell to the radiator core supports lower front corner. I highly recommend AAR Fiberglass.

Sorry crackedback, time is something I have a lot more of right now than money. Hopefully it won't be too much of a pain in the ***. If it is, I will let you know and I will gladly accept the "I told you so" pm :banghead: I appreciate the offer and the heads up though. Guess I'll just see how it goes, it's all a learning experience. (Hopefully lessons won't be to expensive:-D)

Out of all body panels I have put on the rockers were the worst.I would never used repo rockes again.I would buy originals if I were you.

Granted it's hard to get a real good idea from a picture but the car looks amazing. $395 a side ain't bad for the quality you say they are. Just gonna have to wait till next pay day to purchase them. I actually do a lot of work with fiberglass and graphite on a day to day basis so any repairs or modifications that need done would be easy. My biggest fear was a noticable difference where the fiberglass and metal meet, but judging by your car, not a problem! Nice ride, hopefully mine will get there in the near future.

I don`t have any body work skills and I was able to pull it off, so it would be a breeze for somebody with some talent to install them. Just like new cars that incorporate a lot of plastics with metals you can`t tell the difference in the materials that the panels are made from.

Good point, well, fiberglass fronts it is. Gonna be posting some more updates on my resto thread (haven't done that in a while). Still in the tear down phase. Once I do get those fiberglass fenders, I'll be sure to take a lot of pics along the way for others who are curious. Thanks longgone.
