need help with valve locks

I have some 340 X heads I would like to install new valves in.Need to know what valve locks to get.All the valves I looked at have 1 grove locks on them.Mine have 4 grove lock.Are the locks 8 degree OR 10 Degree?

They would actually be 7*. They don't make 10* locks for OEM 4-groove valves that I'm aware of. The single groove valve/lock is typical of performance aftermarket valves. The degree of lock used depends on the retainer, so you have to match thigs up as a set. But if you have the multi-groove valves, get the appropriatly grooved locks which would be 7* and use OEM or aftermarket 7* retainers that fit the spring diameters.
