Can anyone help me identify this master cylinder.
I suspect the return spring is failing and I might be replacing it.
Pedal failed to come all the way up and I drive like 2 miles before I realized.
FWIW car is 67 Barracuda restomod with front disc conversion w/ original distribution valve Not proportioning valve.
Anyway brakes feel fine and check out good otherwise.
I DID take this opportunity to lubricate pivot point under dash.
It’s a 2 bolt pattern to Booster.
Thanks Joe

Make sure it isn't just phenolic pistons in the calipers seizing when they get hot.

That is the 1967 - 1976 Corvette Master Cylinder....
Notice in the above picture, it has the fittings on both sides --- the real universal replacement -- as you can go out either side --- but, of course , if you go out engine side , you risk being too close to the manifold , heat up, and develop vapor lock.....

If the master cylinder is 1 1/8 " bore --- it is a power brake master cylinder....
If the master cylinder is 1 " bore --- it is a manual brake master cylinder....

And , yes , sometimes in these kits , despite a Universal Power Brake Booster --- they are designed for a
1 " ( yes , manual brake ) Master Cylinder....

And , yes , 2 bolt mounting --- whereas Mopar used 4 bolt mounting --- since coming up onto the firewall
in 1955 to the later 1970s , when they started using 2 bolt mounting master cylinders......
