Need idea with side stripe

Its in the wrong place and the call out is 440
Worst part that its painted on.
They look ok, but i'm going with a 318 for now and maybe 340 later.

I can't remove the stripe and I don't like the idea of a repaint.

Anyone have any idea how to make the strip look better .

Maybe get ahold of challengergary on here and he might be able to make up a stripe to cover the displacement at least.
