need recommendation for mopar knowledgeable garage in Chicagoland

A friend ask me to help him find a garage in Chicago area that can help troubleshoot his '88 Dodge truck. He's having engine trouble and needs someone knowledgeable with 318 engine with throttle body. Anyone know a trusted mopar garage in Chicago area?

Runs great when cold. After warms up it falls on its face. It can only get to highway speeds if accelerating VERY slowly.

This may be some what of a stretch.......what's wrong with a dealer???

I can't recommend you a shop but if it was my own the first thing I would check is the coil .

There's a thread on Moparts where a guy was having the exact same problem. Majority of the responses said Hall Effect pickup in the distributer was bad, and a few said MAP sensor. He tried several things before putting the MAP sensor on it, and that fixed it. Jim Rhinehart has a shop in the Chicago area. He's a member here and on Moparts.
