I am in need of some pictures of what I believe are front torque boxes. This car had fenderwell headers on it and the owner is sending to the body shop to have those replaced. Whoever installed the headers, cut the torque boxes(?) and beat the floor to fit the headers. I ordered front torque boxes from AMD and they are not even close to what was cut out. Maybe I am not calling the parts by the correct name?? I would like some pics of the originals that they cut out so we can fab some up.

These are the two best pics that I have. One with floor pan removed.
The torque box attaches to the bottom edge of this panel horizontal down the rocker and frame rail.

That is not the front torque box, that is the rocker to frame brace that has to be cut out of every A-Body that uses fenderwell headers. I saw a nice set for sale yesterday on the internet somewhere. Here are pictures of the brace and the front torque box on my 69 GTS...

Yes as said above it is just thin sheetmetal. Not the torque box. It's on every car. It is to keep the mud and water out of that area behind.

I have a b-body with those cut out from fenderwell headers.

I don't think they are made aftermarket. I took some from a parts car. Lots of work to get them ready to go back on like the factory did them.
