need some info on 73 340 duster i just bought, looking for previous owners

i bought a 73 340 duster here in pa last week. it has no fender tag or build sheet. it has the " h " in the vin so it is a 340 car. and yes i have the title also. anyways i am looking for any previous owners that might know about the fender tag or build sheet, maybe even the original motor. i bought this from a guy locally. he bought it from a guy near the turnpike near bradford,pa. the car was registered in pa in 2000. it was registered in north carolina before that. it was originally light blue.possibly petty blue or something like that. it is an automatic car. black interior,bucket seats and console with air.some where along the line,it was painted plum crazy purple.i will give the whole vin number out to some one that knows this car. the first part is v529h38xxxxxx i will also pm my phone number to anyone that knows this car. please dont ask me if its for sale because is answer is a big FAT NO !!!!!! .any leads would be greatly appreciated. thank you,mike.

well, you asked to find the origional engine,a nd without the last digits, no one can help you.

just one of those things you have to weigh your option on letting the numbers out, in order to find the engine.

i know alot of members on here, me included have run across many 340's, and i am looking for the origional to my 70 340 auto moulan rouge pink duster. good luck

im hoping one of the previous owners has the motor yet. you are right though about letting the numbers out but its risky. do you have any 340s? thanks,mike.

i do not at the moment, but i am sure there are over a thousand of them sitting in the garages of owners on this fine site!. this is the best place for the exposure to find it.
