Hello and thanks to all of you in advance for help I will receive now and in the future and hope I as well can provide some good advice in situations.

Here's the problem at the moment. The car went in for prepping for paint today, and when the chrome trim came off my car, it's a 67 dart GT convertible, they have little plastic clips underneath, and all I can find are metal or zinc clips and I do not know if they work for the trim if I purchase them. Can anyone tell me where I can find the correct clips so I can have them here by the time he's ready to put it all back together? Any help at all in the right direction is soooo appreciated guys. Thanks in advance, Sean

If I knew I would not have stripped the GT trim off mine, LOL. I even thought about trying to make a clip, solder/ braze to a screw, and attach with a nut on the holes I could reach, in the trunk, doors, etc.

Is it that hard to find them? Uh oh.. I hope someone knows.. Would another year of clip work? I am thinking not, because I do believe this is the only year with the trim this way. Ugghh..

You might want to try R/T Specialties ? Not sure if he will have them but worth a call:finga:

Dave,

I could only find metal clips. Had to buy them off eBay. Company called retro-motive. Clips actually appear to be good quality

I got my last set from Rick at R/T. Had to keep in touch with him once a month until he could find them. Good luck.

Sean......I just saw R/T specialties has them listed on their site...
