Neon Roadster...

-
must be nice to buy several complete running neon parts car to make one project
kind of makes me want to get one and saw the roof off

I had a 98 DOHC coupe 5spd, owned the car twice actually. Fun little car, great on gas, handles well. But when stuff starts to go, it all started at once. At least parts were cheap. Besides, the 2.2 I'm driving in my Shadow right now I think is a far more dependable motor.

My '97 DOHC Neon has 160K+, lives a VERY hard life, and I love it. Just gave it a new clutch, struts, timing belt, rings, head gasket, etc. I've owned it and driven it daily since 2005. Got it for $500 with 60K on it.

way awsome big thumbs up to who ever puts that kinda effort into a project

i miss my 95 neon, best 1200. i spent in 2000, drove it hard, sold it in 08' with129,000 because i change jobs and got service truck to take home.
