Just picked up this 2003 Dodge Ram Cargo Van.
Magnum 318, 727. Power windows, mirrors, door locks.
Runs good, shifts good, doesn't leak a drop.
AC blows cold, everything seems to be working.
Had a repaint that kind of sucks. Plan is to clean and detail the int/ext.
Beach trips, Home Depot trips, parts hauler, dog hauler.
Thanks for looking. :-)

318?

Last year before X.7?

I saw one a few months ago for sale at a pawn shop- $1400.

Kinds wish I'd a bought that.

Since 90% of the body is the same as the 70's.....

...I've always wondered what would be required to put a 70's front end "dog house" on them.

Windshield corners might be the issue.

That's a nice looking van! It deserves better wheels. :poke:
I wouldn't mind a set of the factory steelies with caps, but these will suffice for now. Still needs a bath, and the wheels/tires will look much better with some love.

Update:
Cleaning up the interior. Ordered a BedRug for the back. The seats are in excellent shape, but I popped on some vintage Grant seat covers I've had forever. Got them at a Kragen auto years ago. Waterproof, so they will be great when I get out of the water from surfing. Also cleaned up the NASCAR wheels and tires. Wire wheeled all the chrome lug nuts, and centers. Also gave the rusty tailpipe a polish.

Wow....what a difference! It cleaned up nicely. Does the AC keep up with cooling the whole thing, or will you have to make a partition of some sort? I'd like to find a 5.2 or 5.9 Maxi van of the same-ish vintage, but people want stupid money for them around here. :realcrazy:

The AC works pretty good, will probably freshen up the freon when the summer comes around. Isn't really hot enough here to give it the full test. I'm sure the Vans with all the insulation inside and side panels, stay cooler.
