Hey all-
New to the site here. Recently bought a 1973 Dart. I have many questions I hope you guys can help me field. Thanks

Welcome. I grew up in MN. still have family up there. I finally burned my snow shovel and moved to Florida. Welcome to a great site.
 
Thanks all. Its a pretty decent car. Mild to medium build 360. Pretty nice paint, sounds like a million bucks. Fun driver. I don't know much about them yet. Here to learn what I can.
 
Car has the Dart 340 sport emblem on front fenders. Is there a code to look for to see if it did indeed come with that motor originally? In that year 1973, did any Dart sport 340's come with the six pack carbueration??

If it is a 340 it should have a "H" in the vin number and E55 on the inner fender tag "bottom left corner"

Cool. Thanks everyone for the quick responses. I'm going out to check those codes now. I'm sure it was but just want to verify for mymelf.
 
That all checked out good. All those other codes got me wondering what they all mean. The only other one I figured out was the paint code. I thought I saw someone posted a website where you can see what each code means per year, etc??
