Hello, my names Ben and I'm an alcoho....Wait, wrong introduction speech, lol.

Anyway, I'm from west allis, wi. Car is a 69 dart swinger 340 4 spd car. Original 340 is sitting on a pallet in the garage after my cam walked into the water pump last year. Blocks ok, but I thought it'd be safer to store that block and build a 360 for the car. So now its a stock 360 short block with Edelbrock heads, rpm cam, weiand stealth intake, holley street avenger 670, tti headers, and harland sharpe rockers. 4 spd was gone when I bought the car back in 98, have a 727 reverse pattern in it now.

Thanks! These are the only other pics I have on my comp right now. This is of the 340 that let loose last year. The 360 looks almost the same minus the intake. It was a 12:1 motor with custom solid cam, ported m1 intake, and 750 holley double pumper. As I said, the block is in storage right now, I used the heads on the current motor. This 340 with ported cast heads went 12.2 @ 114, I never made it to the track with the heads or custom cam, was really hoping to hit 11's. Now I'm just looking to cruise it
The car has a 10pt cage, 4.30 gears, and 2800 stall. I'm hoping it will run mid 13's or so.

Ben, welcome to FABO from SoCal. You're going to have fun here!
Good looking Dart, but then I'm biased. I'm currently in "build mode" on a '69 Dart much like yours: 360 with reverse-pattern 727.

Welcome, your car and mine are set up alot a like. Mine was a 4spd, now auto also, 360 stroker and 430 rear..Mine last time at the track back in 02 ran 11.40...I sold it then to a older guy, now 64 and recently bought it back. If I could have ever picked a guy to baby sit my car, it was him. Never drove, if he did, he never would go fast in it..Put about 1500 miles on it in 9 years.

Thanks everybody!
Now I'm just chasing an annoying leak. I get a drip of oil on the header flange right above cyl #8 and where the head meets the block in the same spot. It drips onto the oil filter then onto the header and smokes off. It almost looks like the headbolt in that corner, but I'm pretty sure those are blind holes and theres no way for oil to wick up out of the bolt. The oil on the header has me baffled as everything appears dry around it. I have already replaced the valve cover and siliconed it down, so I don't think its that.
