Figured since I've been lurking a bit and asking questions I may as well post up some pictures and info of the car I ended up getting. This is as the previous owner had it, I just picked it up a couple weeks ago and have just been enjoying it.

It's my first piece of Mopar muscle, thought I'd get one and enjoy it before kids start coming around :lol:.

1969 Dodge Dart Swinger, 340 4-speed. 741 rear with 3.91 gears. Power brakes (disk front, drum rear), manual steering.

Originally was B5 blue exterior and blue interior. Repainted in the 90's to a color that's somewhere between B7 and B5 blue, definitely a little darker than original but just looks great in the sun. Interior was changed over to black.

Previous owners mods were headers, exhaust, cam (not sure of the specs, Mopar purple cam is all I know), Edelbrock intake & carb.

As it sits I just plan on enjoying it, tinkering with it here and there.

Hope to get lots of knowledge from the site (it's already been really helpful) and spend some wrench time on the car.

First items I want to deal with are getting the rims paint matched and tossing on a set of redline dog dishes. New seals & gasket on the rear end. Eventually will move inside and put a Retrosound deck into it with kick panel speakers, just for a little bit of sound (the AM radio just doesn't cut it). But, that will be in a while, since the sound of the 340 is just about as good as any music I could listen to anyways :glasses7:

Sweet! Welcome from NJ. You found a great website for sure. I love your car , particularly the engine/trans combo.

My wife and I just returned from our visit up there. We got to see the "space needles" in Toronto and Niagara Falls Canada. Lovely country and people!
 
Thanks everyone. I'll definitely be going to New Hamburg for Moparfest. Been there a couple years as a spectator, finally have a car to bring and parts to look for.

Also, had an oddball question. Why is the antenna on the passenger front fender of most 69 Darts, with some on the rear passenger side? Did it have to do with radio group options or something?
 
What a beautiful car, enjoy it. As for antenna location, I can only remember them on right front fender, when they were new.
