Lifetime Mopar fan. Long time Dart fan. I'm getting ready to start my 67 Dart convertible to 70 Swinger convertible resto-mod. This project is 30 years in the making. I'm grateful to all of you who have completed this conversion. You experience and advise will save me from wasting time and money figuring it out by myself.

Search through this site to find at least one other conversion from a 67/8/9 convertible to a 1970. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for the warm greetings.

I will find some pics from when I bought the car......30 yrs ago. I will try my best to remember the picture rule, I like it!
I got as far as removing the interior, door hardware, top, and trim. The car has been sitting since.
The car has done a good job blocking dust from hitting the floor!

I figure most of this year will be mapping out the project. I want to lock in the build details before any more work starts. Running changes are costly and very time consuming.

When I bought the car, I was expecting to swap in a 5.9 Magnum and 4 spd od trans. For a minute, I did have fantasies of a V10 Viper swap. Today's plan is a 6.4/8spd swap.

So much has changed in the Mopar world since I bought the car, it appears some parts of the build will be easier.
