Hello everyone. I have a 1974 Scamp 318 auto car. I’ve had the car for almost 10 years as it was a high school graduation gift from my parents. It was running and driving when I got it and virtually untouched. The first thing I did was replace floor pans and weld in my own home brew subframe connectors. The engine and trans then came out and I painted and rebuilt the k member and front suspension. I used offset uca bushings and boxed the lower control arms. Other than that the suspension is stock. I have a 406 ci small block for it with trick flow heads and intake and a Competition cams solid roller. Life got in the way and I recently picked a color and got back to work but it’s difficult since I live 8 hours away at the moment. The ultimate plan is a reliable street/strip car with a/c that runs 10s and has overdrive.

I have not yet. I’m from south Arkansas and my girlfriend is from northeast Arkansas. We will probably move back over that way.

Nice Scamp. Most people find FABO before they start their project, looks like you are well on your way! What part of Misery are you in?

I live in Columbia and work in Jefferson City. At least until my girlfriend graduates from vet school. Forgot to mention that I restore cars for a living.

Welcome from Kansas. Can't wait to see the finished product. Are you familiar with the HPAC Mopar club in Kansas City? They have a big (and awesome) All Mopar show in Kansas City every fall. I go every year. Maybe I'll see you there this year.

Nice! My cousin does the same. His wife teaches at MU and he works for the state. Where do you do your restorations? Do you have a business or just work on your own?

This is the first I have heard of it. I might try to make it but won’t be able to enter anything.
