You could be right, I don't know. It doesn't seem to have a permanent on or off, more a push on and release to cease the function. I haven't checked terminals to see if what I'm saying is gospel.

It's just probably gummed up some, that's why its sticking. There is a # stamped on the side of it fyi. Wiper switch is significantly bigger then that and has a rotary dial.
