New rad size

I am going to do a /6 to smallblock swap in a 73 duster what size rad do I need to put in it.How may core and how wide tall and thick.Could I go to a pull a part and get any rad that is a good size and fad some brackets to fit.

A stock replacement rad would do for most applications. I got mine from Auto Zone. $200

I'm runnind a 26" wide two row in mine because I live in AZ.
($180 or so from Autozone.) called the Extracool.
The two row allows room for the Electric cooling fans between the rad and water pump.

is the core 26 or is it 26 overall

Yes but it is a 2 core with a blank space for a 3rd core that the factory never did for some reason.

The core itself is about 1 inch wider than the opening (1/2 on each side)
