I purchased some METRO roof rail weather stripping for a 1969 Dart 2 door hardtop and have installed it, the fitment at the front, right where it starts going down the "A" pillars is terrible on both sides, it's like it is too wide/bulky right there at that corner. I think the bulkiness is also holding out the glass from sealing.
I'm looking for thoughts from others that have installed new weatherstripping?
Thank You!

Is your issue at the top where it seals against the "A" frame or lower where it seals between the body and the door metal?

Do you have it pushed into the corner all the way?

Photo would be great.

It's certainly not in place as it should be through the corner. If the corner is pulled too tight from the front to the back of the car it will never soften up and go into place. I'd take the weather strip out starting at the back of the rear window, get the corner into place and then work to the back
