i purchased a 1966 barracuda. its in some sad shape. its a project car for me and my son. my wife had passed and my son saw this on facebook. it needs some woork

Welcome. I envy the journey you and your son are beginning. I was not at all close to my father, and I had 2 daughters who had no interest in cars. Enjoy every minute of it.

Welcome to the board. This is a great learning opportunity for you and your son to build some wonderful memories.
Love your boy with all your heart. You don't have that many years, you'll be surprised how fast it goes.
My son just turned 13 this month. it feels like I was holding him as a baby just the other day, teaching him to walk and ride a bike at the park, and change the oil... Now I have him "teach" me how to fix the car, even if it's the first time at a task, like changing a shock. Make your son think every step of the process through before picking up the first tool. It's the best lessons you can give.
