Long story short , T & I headed north into south Georgia for a parts car this morning. We spent the night in Byron Ga on our way home from our Christmas trip to the St. Louis area, and saw this thing on Facebook marketplace Monday night.
I sent the guy a DM but never heard from him till yesterday. So we packed our trailer.

Next up on the chopping block at my chop shop, is a 70 Dart !
Pretty complete v8 auto car. . No title and Pretty rusty.
Couple sites along the way of interest. A Bank from Orbit City(the Jetsons)

And a restaurant but was closed.

Any way a couple more car picks.

grill & bumpers are inside the trunk

About 10 hour trip.
Trunk is full of all the trim parts and who knows what. I'll cover it up with a tarp and bug bomb it for a couple days before messing around with it.

Normally I’d laugh, but I had to wear something similar when I had to clean-up all of the bat guano in the attic of the new place. Mouse stuff “concerns” me, but bat stuff scares the hell outta me!

This morning T & I are heading south the the Tampa area to pick up ( hopefully ) a 70 Duster parts car roller. Maybe have some parts worth saving.
Gonna test the neighbors, Gonna be 3 parts cars in the back yard!!!
I think that ought to keep us busy for a while.
Keep seeing on the fake news , how Florida is sinking into the ocean. So we're doing our part to lighten the east side of the country by sending most of our parts to the west coast it seams. Hopefully California doesn't drop off the edge !

The 70 Dart above is actually in better shape than I thought after cleaning it out some. Frame rails look good at a glance. Inner front fenders look good. Suspension is pretty clean. Although front drum and a 7.25 rear. Tinted glass is good, like I need more glass. Has a lot of trim in the car that might be good.

Al, the 70 is a factory AC car. I'd bet someone would pay good money to get all of the components.

Well the red Duster was a total flop. Total rotted Junk. These dudes are delusional. Can't answer questions and waste your time. All part of the game I quess..

Have our eyes on a couple. 1 in SC, 1 in GA. A little farther than we really wanna go, but they look very promising. Neither of us has a free weekend until the 17th, so I haven't even reached out to them yet.
In the meantime, there is rumor of a petty blue duster, 18 years in some dude's grandma's garage, 10 minutes down the road that I'm trying to track down this week - don't know if it is real or memorex, or if it would even be avail for rescue if it is real.
