What rear end would I expect to have on a '73 dart swinger with 318V8 and torqueflite trans
Front factory disc brakes and rear drum
Can I assume that I have the LBP wheel bolt pattern?
Car currently has CragarSS front and rear in 14" diameter

Thanks

That year, front disks, should be big pattern. I would guess 8 1/4

Look at the "rear of the rear:", ignore the bottom two

Its a good bet it is, however I would not assume that, I would measure. So many things could have been changed over 30+ years and previous owners.

The front would almost 100% be 4.5 x5 and if the rear is original it would be the same however many change out the rear for original abody 8.75's which are 4 x5. Bbody rear would be 4.5 x5 and aftermarket Abody axles can be had in 4.5 x5 Could be as well that the Craigers be 4.5 x5 on the front and 4 x5 on the rear or be unilug... point is anythings possible.

Car is 71k miles grandma car still has the original steel wheels with full wheel covers in the trunk
Willget a closer look this weekend

My money: Big bolt 7.25"

Do you have 9 bolts or 10 ?

That's what i would put my money on too.
If it's a factory V8 car, it should have bbp front discs and a bbp rear.
If it has an 8 1/4'' rear, that's a bonus.
A lot of them were made with bbp 7 1/4'' rears though.

I have decoded the build tag and don't see any particular mention of rear end size or gear ratio included in that information. I will take a peek under the back end this Saturday and report back...
