Used to be a great two day race with all Mopars. Then a two day race Mopars vs the world. Now we are down to a test n tune and gamblers race Friday night and a race on Saturday so I’ll go up for Saturdays race. It was sad watching trailer after trailer pull out Saturday night or early Sunday morning. This will be a good warmup race for the three day big money race put on by Michael Beard the following week.

Yup, New England Dragway use to have a Mopar weekend but haven't since 2019. The excuse I've heard is low car count, however the last one in 2019 the staging lanes were full of Mopars of all kinds and NED has fairly lengthy staging lanes. Now the closest Mopar day to me is Lebanon Valley in September.

That's exactly what this past weekend was for us. Mopar Box and No Box race on Friday night had the highest car count. Then on Saturday for the Mopar vs the World event, there were more Fords and Chevys than Mopars and if that wasn't bad enough, the total number of cars for that event was less than Friday night.... lol

Good luck John. Wish I got to see ya again this weekend. Next outing planned for us is July 5-7 at keystone.

I had to look to see what that was. I’ll probably miss you guys then. I really like this race out at Quaker City. I’m not running points at Keystone or I would have to make that weekend for sure.

Mopar vs the World. We tried that and the dumb Ford and Chevy guys didn't know they were "the world". They thought it was a Mopar only race. :BangHead: :rofl:

Ya the Quaker big bucks race is nice to go to. Wish we were goin there and hey who knows maybe weather drives us to Quaker. I just know right now it’s hard for me to go anywhere out of town being that my daughter is so young. Keystone is just easy cause it’s so close.

Man I wish my junk was back together for that race at Keystone. I’d love to hit TnT Friday night and enter the Iron Muscle class Saturday. That would be a blast!

Well it looks like I’m going to miss this weeks Mopar race. I got pulled over Sunday going to church for an expired inspection sticker by a local officer. The Police officer was very cool and after running my info wrote me a warning. He said me telling the truth when he asked me why I thought he pulled me over and immediately telling him I had a pistol in my right front pant’s pocket went a long way with him. So after church I stopped at Oriellys auto parts and ordered a two piece stainless tailpipe that was bad. Ended up my resonator was also in need of replacement. Those parts were ordered and won’t be here till Friday. Since I’m down I bought rear brakes, calipers, and rotors. Boy is this stuff priced crazy for a 2006 dodge diesel. To much work to tow with the motorhome for a one day race so I’ll sit it out and hopefully get this close to passing inspection next week.

Is you truck 4wd? If so, I hope your ball joints are good as those trucks seem to eat them. Just a heads up.

Ya it’s four wheel drive and just turned 100,000 miles. I also bought a steering stabilizer and front shocks and will probably grab emergency brake pads and kit tomorrow when I pick up the tailpipes. The resonator came in today so I’ll pick it up tomorrow too. I have a love hate relationship with this truck. It ties great and gets half decent mileage. But Freeport is a super tight town with electric poles right at the curb and on street parking. I know I struggle judging the fenders a few inches but man some people really hog the road. I hit one mirror on my motorhome years ago on a pole. Dog gone 3/4 truck rides like a truck.
