I don’t know about that. Hughes may be good, but NEVER underestimate the Wild’s ability to go One & Done in the playoffs.It will be interesting to see how each of them work out in the new environment. I don't expect any great changes from either one, but time will tell.
Meanwhile, the already tough central division just got more competitive with Hughes landing in Minnesota. Just about the worst possible scenario for the Jets. If St. Hellebuyck is back in goal before the turn of the calendar, they might have a chance at squeaking into the playoffs, otherwise they can kiss this season goodbye.
And if it’s a Jets/Wild series, my money wouldn’t be on the Wild, that’s for sure.
Edit: The Wild play the Senators today at 1:00. Would be nice to watch “the new guy “, but I promised my wife I would get some other thing’s done. (Damn!)
