I thought I would share this treasured pic with all of you great folks. This is a pic of my grandfathers 69 dart swinger in action, He ran the G/SSA class and this car held the nhra world record for it's class for about 3 years from 69-71.
Enjoy, I'm trying to get a copy of the nhra certificate so I can get it posted too!!

Any Idea What The Et's Were? I Love Those 340 Swingers! HOW ABOUT ALL THE WHITE PAINT UNDERNEATH. I DID THIS TO A MY CAR WHEN I WAS IN HIGHSCHOOL. I HAD THOSE FAT 50 SERIES TIRES & MAGS, WITH *** END RAISED HIGH WITH AIR SHOCKS. EVERYTHING UNDER IT WAS PAITED WHITE.

The ET that held the record was 14.27 and I need to correct myself it was an AHRA Record not a NHRA does not specify mph on certificate. I've got a picture of the certificate I will post it when I get home this evening. And no he does not still have the car.
