What an amazing find. An original NOS Power Pack Option single exhaust hi-performance resonator exactly for the 65 Dart. Never installed.

Nice, I've wanted at least to have an outlet that looks like that.

That is one raspy sound that comes out of those things there was a guy at the local Country Club that had a 65 Barracuda and that single exhaust sounded better than most dual exhaust I've ever heard

Hawt. Svigel's Auto Parts (years ago when they were a longtime family biz in Denver-Metro; I mentioned them in this) had several of those in their large stock of NOS Mopar exhaust parts. If they didn't all get sold over the years — and they might've not — then they probably were included when Old Car Parts Northwest bought out the stocks when Svigel's shut down to make way for sprawl. Then the longtime owner of OCPNW sold the biz and retired, and the new owner's got numerous warehouses full of parts not (yet?) inventoried or catalogued.

All to say: finds like this will still be possible every once in awhile for awhile yet.

Curbside classic has snapped 2 pics of my cars here around Oregon for the website. I had no idea they were even on there. Cool little page.

The question now is what muffler to run. The early type or the later quieter type? My car was made in June so if I want the stock sound for it I'm thinking the later one.

on my 66 dart /273, i run just the resonator no muffler, has a great sound , i did same on my 65 dart years ago, guys say never heard a single exhaust sound so good, it's not loud, sure does sound wicked.

Grew up in Denver. Can't count the trips to Svigel's and Colorado auto parts. Great places and great people.
