No more Camaro!

Are you looking to replace it with a performance car or with a DD?

Considering another Cherokee. This one popped up today. A little more than I was hoping to spend, but looks great from the ad. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/4526697633.html

A fair deal. I would borrow /rent /buy a cheap scanner ,being first year OBD-2.(J.M.O....).The early ones( 88-92-ish?), had injector problems. Seen 300+ k ,if maintained. The drag link,is probably dead,as are the shocks. No lift kit, makes life better. Just, my personal knowledge ,with these. More people regret selling, than buying....

Tough to get much car for 2g's. I take it you don't need 4x4

Look for Mid 80s Crown Vics...302 with OD...in AZ you should be able to find a nice one for 2K....just go hang out at the retirement center. They stop building the 'box' Vic in 91....they started in 79.]

Here is what I'm talking about! This one is 3K. Course it's in Canada..but I bet you could find a nice one in AZ. Some dual exhaust and you are rumbling.

Unfortunately this was completely rusted out underneath. One hole at the right rear quarter as big as my hand and the several large holes underneath just in the one area I looked at. Didn't even bother test driving it, shook his hand said thanks and walked away. Think I spent about 2 mins actually looking at it, it was that bad under there.

Yeah it is probably going to be tough, but I have a little time to be patient about it. 4x4 isn't a necessity, but I am getting myself out of this valley. The heat/sun and my skin don't get along anymore. I'll be heading up north to Pinetop/Show low and the 4x4 will definitely come in handy.

Honestly...for a $2K car, I would have a hard time going with anything but a Panther car or a truck.

I got an 01 crown Vic I'll sell ya for $1500! I'm only a "few" miles northeast of you;) lol
