Petronix I I like usually no issues if is good the start. II and III not so much.

Keep in mind a bad capacitor can kill a coil. I came upon my brother in law & my dad after they were on there third coil all dead. I had them change the cap + new coil , the engine WAS ALIVE.

I have replaced a lot of them slant six plastic gears on the end of the distributor shaft when they go bad no start

I now sell all my stuff on craigslist and facebook
