A picture of the tag minus the last 6 digits of the vin would help.

Can't help on fender tag but the block stamp is a 413. A 440 would be stamped as 440.

A 68' roadrunner could only be had with the standard 383, or the optional 426 hemi. No 440 was available in a roadruner in 68'. In 69 you could get a 440 six pack ( m code ) If you wanted a 440 in 68' you would have had to buy a GTX.

I had a '69 RoadRunner years ago, I blew up the 383 and I dropped in a 413 out of a Chrysler station wagon. Someone probably did somethig like that with this '68.
