so i picked up a 79 toyota pickup and its got a couple little problems. one of which is that the headlights arent working. but all the other lights are. i checked the fuses and both the headlight fuses aren't blown and when i hooked up my old headlights from my duster that i know for sure work, but they werent making light. there was a bit of corrosion in the connector but im sure if it was enough corrosion to stio the connection and ill clean that out next tim,e im working on it. anyone got some ideas of what would cause this so i can be a bit more focused next time i go out to work on it.

That and problems in the dimmer, aren't those on the column? "Without the book" I can't help you

I would focus on the headlight switch. Manually operated switches are always suspect in any application.
