Yep, I plan on being there, man. I dunno if i'm gonna take the Dart or the Ram yet, though. Ideally, I'd like to get the carb tuned before taking it out regularly. Hit me up.

i think i'm gonna go sunday, they have a kids model car deal and michael likes doing the snaps.if your going sunday let me know what time and we can walk around and pick everybodys **** apart lol (just kidding guys):protest:

I think I'm gonna be there on Sat Mike, but I'll keep you in the loop.

I've still got a slight bog at part throttle. At just over idle it feels like it wants to die. If I give it more throttle it snaps out of it.

I just replaced all the ignition wires so nothing resting on the headers (and the cut to fit look SO much cleaner), Spark plugs are all nice & tan. Vacuum is just shy of 14". Do I need to adjust the vacuum advance more? Exhaust smells a little rich, though.

The hesitation is at very slight throttle and the idle seems to struggle just a little bit under load (thinking it might not be enough timing at low RPM's?). Any advice is much appreciated.

Wow, I didnt know there were this many of us A-body owners here in the bay. Im also going this weekend however, just to look. My Bcuda isnt driving yet.

hey slim how you doing?i used to live in vallejo on wallace ave. the fastest ride around was sopposed tobe a yellow camaro .it had a tilt front and a small block with a dominator ever seen that car?

I've seen that camaro you are talking about. Did a lot of street racing a while back. There was also a guy that lived off of redwood in Vallejo that had a wicked vega that use to run on street. Man I miss those days. Made some good coin slaying 5.0's and Z28's.

Hey Jeff what size is your accelerater pump. I've got a 6 Hg dont know if that one would work for you.

Ken, I shot by Vic Hubbard's at lunch & picked up the shooter. Only problem is... the next door neighbor just drove my car to his body shop, looks like body & paint is now officially under way.

well the body is decent so besides the two dents front and rear and rust repair it should be pretty straight forward.the guy does nice work,so your cars gonna be beautiful.then your gonna be afraid to drive it.lol.and istill say WHITE top.drive into ohlone next year like that and it willdraw a crowd.or you could paint the doors white and pretend your a cop.:D:violent1::finga::burnout:hey still going sunday, gotta put that tranny in carlos camaro on saturday or i would go then.plus we kick it outside the fair entrance and watch them drive out.:burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout:4 wide

almost forgot , if you want tocome by next weekend, baring rain, i'm gonna fire the car up and see how it runs.should be interesting to say the least....

Nice, I might have the Boy, but we may cruise by for a while to hear you kick it for the first time. Mike, I wanna get rid of my rubber fuel line from the Mechanical pump to the carb, does anyonr have a solid or braided kit?

no one makes a kit i'm aware of, but you cam buy some tubing and a cheap bender i have the flare tool and the fittings it will need.definatly need to get rid of that rubberhose.we took my car to the madera meet and parked on the grass in the show opened the hood and fuel was boiling in the line and carb.same setup you have.probably had the biggest P O S car there, yet it drew a crowd, they were lookig at the torque strap! couldnt beilve it. your boy and you arewelcome nytime house is kid safe (no more plants)lol later jeff gotta go outside and finish putting a cyl head on a ford escort.it wants a happy ending lol:D

Went to the Good Guys show on Saturday & I got lucky. Found a very nice condition '73-'74 Dart Grille that really only needed cleaning, repainting & upper tab repair. I cleaned it all up polished up the chrome a little & shot it with 3 coats of Mopar Argent & I'm super pleased. When I get the old grille off, I'll use the plastic to make repairs to the broken tabs on the new one. Now if I can only find some re-pop lenses, I can't seem to find the Mexican re-pops on Ebay currently, hopefully they'll be re listed. Here's a shot after paint & putting the chrome back on.
