Better keep those caps on. The desiccant will pull moisture from humid air and become saturated. They can be dehydrated with time and patience. Looks like a nice piece - 70 date code maybe. June 6 1970 on the 10,000 day calendar. Too new for me.

put that in an oven at 225 for a few hours. Will boil any moisture right out. They can take it, they live under the freakin' hood!
