not really up on my stuff

If its not already 60 over, cracked, or sunk in mud for 10 years, its a keeper. Does it come with main caps? Rods?

All 440 blocks are similar enough to not worry about differences. What a block needs to come with to be cost-effective to build are standard bore and main caps. With a sonic check to confirm enough cylinder wall you can go .060 with a 440, but it's still best to start standard, if possible (my son's tired 1970 440 is still standard bore, but my relatively fresh 1969 440 is .030 - but that was free).

Just curious. I'm selling my whole motor and didn't know if I should try to sell it for someone's matching year car so they could sell it at one of those high dollar auctions!

If it's not number's matching it makes little difference to purists what year the motor is. Unless the car is something really special the people paying big money for original muscle cars usually ignore a car that doesn't have its original drive train.
