Kind of ignored my 65 valiant last fall after picking up the 64 and she has been in storage since October.
Finally weather has cooperated enough to get her out of storage and start spring tune up ritual.
Got oil n filter changed, front end greased and trailbeast's distributor put in and timing set

After road test she is very, very happy:cheers:

new to the forum//did your car come with the cowl plugs or did you install them???
have a 69 cuda//reading a lot about the cowl area filling up with debris and rusting/leaking areas out

Good thing you got her out. If we ignore them too long they get angry and give us something to troubleshoot!!!

That's a FINE looking Commando engine you got there!!!

Thanks 66fyssh.
Ya got that right on "if we ignore them to long they get angry and give us something to troubleshoot. " My modified ball & trunion boot blew off on second trip I took her on other day LOL. Had been working fine for 4 yrs.

Love it. Yep, if you ignore them, just like a woman, they will not be happy. I can hardly wait to finish the paint on mine and get her out of the garage without pushing.
