Octane Boost Additives

True. It SHOULD also be a fuel conditioner as well as raise octane.

What we call pump gas is barely gasoline by the time all the **** is added to it. **** that won't burn.
So true, lawnmower gas used to be 94 !!

I have used Torco and Race Gas. They both work. Both are expensive, but cheaper than a new motor. Both of them leave a reddish/orange colored deposit on the plugs, no real adverse effects otherwise, just makes the plugs a weird color.

I only use the Race Gas octane booster only if I need race fuel and no place is open. Other wise I always get VP race fuel. The cost comes out to be the same after buying 93 and adding an octane booster to it. I am running a 50/50 mix on the street in a 505 with 12.4 compression, 200 psi cylinder pressure. So far its been running very good.
