Odd 4speed shift pattern help

-
Can you drive the car? You will soon know. If the engine runs slower RPM in the "normal" 4th gear position, it is OD in which case you will want to flip the 3-4 (front) lever upside down
I will drive it again in the next couple of days when the snow melts. I believe the rpms dropped in 4th geat..car has 4.11 posi and on the highway I was doing 60 and rpms were about 2900-3000 ..rear tires are 275/60/15

Well get it to say, 35mph and gingerly play between 3 and 4. Whichever runs lower RPM at same speed is the higher gear. If it shifts "backwards" (lower RPM with shifter in 3rd) with the 3-4 lever "up" then you have an OD and must turn that lever down

Put a rebuilt shifter in the car and adjusted all linkages, perfectly smooth now. The car shifts in all gears and reverse is also corrected.
