oil light

I have just installed a new oil pressure sensor on my 69 Dart 383 car and new wiring harnesses all the way through, when the ignition is ON position, not start I have no light as soon as it fires up the oil light comes on, now the temp, alt, gauges are all working fuel gauge is inoperative at this time (ground strap issue)I know the gray wire runs from the switch thru the bulkhead connector and to the instrument cluster. I just need to know if they make 2 different senders, N/O and N/C. thanks.

What sending unit do you have on it?

Well quite frankly I bought a bunch of parts in the past year or so so I don't have a part number as such and I don't remember I could go and dig up the paper on it and tell you if that helps

That's a gauge sender- the warning light sender looks like this:

That's the sender for a gauge. You need the short one for a light.

I did the same thing. Getting correct on now
