Ran across this in my garage. Imagine I got it in the mid to late 80’s. Just a little nostalgia. Will put on my Demon in July when the law not requiring front plates here kicks in.

I just checked, that law goes into effect 7/1/20, not this July. I know, I was ready to chuck mine and hang a different plate up front!

I have a Direction Connection front plate on mine. Have for about 5 years or so now. When I was at the BMV and got my historical plates the lady told me I could run it on the front but I had to keep the plate for the vehicle in the trunk if the police wanted to see it. I have never been pulled over for not having it and have talked to the police about it. They told me that a historical vehicle doesn't have to have a front plate because it is used for shows and parades. It can not be used as a daily driver. As a matter of fact I have have a 1972 plate that is registered to it that I can put on if I want to. When you buy the historical plates take your plate that is dated the same year as your vehicle. They will scan it and it will also be registered to that vehicle so you can swap them if you want. Now I live in Ohio, your state may be different.
