Some of you older members will remember these types of table tops
This one has wood legs
My MIL had the chrome version
This particular one was my parents and they bought it when they were married around 1949
It’s now seeing use in the break room of my daughters business
That’s how we built stuff in this country back than

There's a taco joint here that has a bunch of those old tables and chairs. Chrome and Formica.

That's cool. I have my grandmother's table, frame & legs exactly like the light gray one on the right in pic 1, but with the green top on left in pic 2. No chairs though :( Made in the ol USA

Retro is cool! The kids want everything plastic today.

Pretty sure the plastic craze started back in the 1950's. Now the kids all want carbon fiber, T6 aluminum, and tempered glass.

Very Cool!

I still use the coffee table my dad made in high school - 1956.

Needs a refinish, but solid as a rock…

We have my in laws old kitchen table in the basement, the wife displays her elvis memorabilia on it. It's from the 50's.

I had a kitchen table made of wood, heavy wood, made in early 1900s. Took 4 big guys to move it! Back when America had lots of pride and everything built to last. I know, it was built out of virgin timber!!

I still have my parents table, and it's still in use in my kitchen. Just like that gray topped one with no chairs, except it's blue.
