What was the man's name who raced a Mopar with a 273, in a foot brake class with one leg? I know he was extremely successful. Want to say he bought his family home with the winnings.

I remember a guy who raced a blue ‘69 Dart 340 there was a magazine article on him, his car was so reliable the hood was welded to the hinges, bracket racer Chip Horton only had one leg and was a foot brake racer and was a regular in the winner’s circle, no computers, boxes or gadgets.

Hey thank you! Its Chip Horton I was trying to remember.. His car had a 273 if I'm not mistaken. I want to say there was an article that featured his car. It's the car in the article listed. But that's not the article I remember back in the 90's. That article told about his car a bit more.
