Back to basics, is my return to my roots.
I grew up in a 1974 Dart Sport. Dark Brown with black vinyl interior.
Mom sold it it when I was 15.

I told her I would buy it back if I ever found it. I haven't yet, but I did find it's twin.

1976 Dart Lite.

The above are prior to priming.

Below are after flat black priming.

I added converions housings and pro halogen headlights.

When I first got it, it had a crappy Y pipe to dual system with glasspacks.
The crossover pipe was rubbing the driveshaft. The tailshafts were coat hangered to the frame.

We sectioned the existing system, and fabbed a single with a 2.25 Dynomax welded muffler..

In order to drive it during the winter, I needed a washer pump. My old resevoir had a pump but the housing was cracked.

I picked up a universal coolant overflow bottle, and universal pump.

The pump wired into the existing wiring, and works great!!

Way to go. Are you going to keep it a /6 stock or build or swap ?

This one is staying to its /6 roots.

I have a spare /6 in the garage.

I will give it a basic rebuild, 4bbl intake and carb and prepare it for the last stage.... Turbo.

I am going to do all body work and paint this summer. Then I can drop in the rebuilt /6 plus the 4 speed OD, and 8 3/4 rear end.
