Opinions - Thinking of purchasing this 64 Two Door ( Non- Mopar )

-
If the body is really rust free I would go for it.
A guy in town here has one, his is black with a red interior and it sounds really nice.
4-speed is a plus.

Thanks guys. Seems like $7500 is the winning number on here and from the Falcon forum. Awesome input as always. Thanks to all.

I'll make the offer but he told me he has been offered $8K twice and he turned it down. Definitely wont like my offer.

I'm really only into 1963-65 era cars right now.

Remember, when you make the offer, cash talks. Lay it down on the hood. THERE it is RIGHT THERE TODAY. Money in the bank.

I will say :I would, offer 7500 -8 k cash. Falcons are sweet,that's a nice one.

Falcons are cool (302 4spd even better), but figure out a disc brake swap up front.

I had one with drum brakes all the way around and every time I drove through standing water, I drove with one foot on the gas and one foot on the brakes for a block or two before I had brakes again.

Well....the seller put the car up on EBay while we were in the middle of our talks. And...they put it up with better pictures than the ones they sent to me. So....now that I can see better pics......

This is not, as you all said, a $9K car.

Amazing how a car that needs a new interior is now describe as having no tears and in nice condition.

I am out.

Here it is for anyone wanting to have a look....or buy.

If the guy is local, I'd STILL make a cash offer of $7500.00 to him, In person.

Yup. Cash makes people do things they normally would not sometimes. How you think **** was created?

He is certainly leaving out a lot on the eBay ad so how much other stuff did he leave out with you? Based off the differences in his communication with you and his eBay ad, I would be hesitant to want to deal with him.

Precisely why you deal IN PERSON.

You could always turn it into a thunderbolt if you get bored.

Love me some Mopars but

Galaxie's, Fairlane's, Thunderbolt's and Falcon's all kool karz too in my book !!!

Personally, with 8K cash in pocket I would lowball 6 or 6500$ 1st but gotta be in person.

Go getcha some of that ferd !

I like the old falcons. But I would never buy a Post car. Just think it messes up the look of them.
A hard top is the way to go, much better looking.

I had wondered what you had bought.

Sure, Halifax is about an hour away.

Did you see this one ?

Yep. That is one of them. This is the other. ( I haven't bought anything yet.....taking my time and looking for great deal as fall and winter approaches).

Not sure which one i like better.

What I really want to buy is this one but I don't have enough $$$. Seller is real nice guy but even though it says BO he won't budge on the $13K price. Shipping for me from Halifax Montreal area is $1095 + GST. Too much when combined with sell price.

Here is the one I really like...

That one and the one I posted are probably the cleanest...folks don't start getting nervous until late September...
